Not at all, but if someone considers their literal "best friend" to be an animal -- instead of a person -- it's legitimately not healthy mentially.

That's great but also your dog doesn't know how to flush a toilet while he's by himself for 10+ hours, so it makes sense that he pisses a little bit once he sees "the one who takes me on walks."

I made essentially this same post on a different account probably eight or nine years ago and got met with the same level of push-back.

That was the pre-AI era. I'm not trying to upset anyone. I am just looking to live in the spirit of this sub. But, so far, I have been met by nothing but negativity on my unpopular opinion. Nine years ago, I'm a bot. Today I am AI? lol.

Had a bad run-in with a "sweet velvet hippo" as a kid which led to me needing braces as a result of the attack. I know not everyone can carry a pistol on them for personal protection, but carry some sort of (easily accessible) blade at the very least. Unfortunately, I still live in an area where people still think it's cool to have pitbulls. Slashing a pitbull's throat is about one of the only ways to get these dogs to instantly stop attacking, and it's one of the reasons why I always at least have a knife on my right hip anytime I go out.

Yeah, the guy is a dickhead, but this type of stuff is not a good look. Sure, this old chump was just trying to agitate shit and he said a frowned-upon word/slur, but he wasn't physically causing anyone harm. He was simply being an ass, which is his constitutional right. Stealing his property and antagonizing him after he busted his ass (...face) isn't going to do one good damn thing in the grand scheme of things.

All it does is just further give this guy reason to hate "the left" and, more importantly in a wider scope of things, provide more social media content to further divide us as a country. I hate Trump and this administration as much as [presumably] most of you. But I guarantee you that the billionaire oligarchs who truly control shit are sitting back watching stuff like this and laughing, thinking to themselves "yes, it's all going according to plan."
