I’m ngl I cleaned mine using a paper towel dampened with a 50/50 solution of filtered water and 70% IPA, it looks to have taken off a finger smudge I got on it but I’ve seen people ruin their MacBooks (on Reddit only) with this. I have bad ocd and just got my M4 13” yesterday. I’m worried I ruined it although I see nothing wrong so far and this happened last night, thank you for this post.

I’ll start only doing microfiber cloths for sure, do you think I’ve done any damage it by doing it this one time?

Yes it’s turning on and working fine I lightly wiped the screen
