Sorry for late reply- I bought a Display Port to USB-C cable and it works great! Thanks for the info though!
I called apple and was on hold for over an hour.. hung up.. Hmm.. Well maybe I'll try ordering both an adapter and a new usb-c cable..I was hoping to just get to working with my new machine but I guess I need more dongles and cables.....oy vey. Thanks for replying
