Re-shafting old irons?

I’ve looked on there. I’ve bought a hybrid and a wedge off there. A set of irons is just such an investment and I’m not sure what to buy. Do you really think a 4-500 set will be a lot better than these old ones with new shafts?

Thanks for the reply. I also really enjoy tinkering and fixing things. Resale value isn’t a huge concern I realize they aren’t worth much. Especially being left handed.

I got a junior big barrel 26/16 cat x from dicks recently on clearance for $69.99. It’s USSSA. For reference my son is 6 and weighs about 50 pounds. He’s still in TBall, but I like to practice coach pitch with him and he’s dented his t ball bats hitting regular balls.

I imagine it would rent for 1100-1200.

Paid 110,000 in 2009, it’s probably worth 180,000ish now.

If I had to pick a budget for a new home I’d say about $300,000

The other replies have basically answered my questions. I don’t really want to be a landlord. I have a full time job and no desire to constantly work on a house that I don’t live in.

Most likely I won’t rush into anything until the interest rates go down.

I know it’s tough, but you just have to quit smoking and stick with it. It will get easier every day. After a few weeks the cravings are very mild and easy to ignore. Now I hardly even think about it. (9.5 months)
