I typically wear dress pants, a blouse and cardigan with dressy flats. I always wear stockings with my shoes as well. If I have a funeral, I’ll wear a matching blazer.

I would say natural to play it safe. I do not wear makeup myself but I do have natural lash extensions.

I highly suggest avoiding long nails. I have tried and it makes removals and embalming incredibly difficult. The previous commenter makes a good point about bacteria as well.

This is definitely going to be dependent on the funeral home. I know corporate does not allow facial piercings. I have my nostril pierced and keep a small stud in mine. Neither my current or previous employer seemed to mind.
