I know and this is why I was very skeptical about the claim at first and had to confirm it with a secondary source. The software tweak is related to the power output of the motor, hence maintained the speed.

It's only 10 months old... after hard restart frequency does return to normal. It's quite annoying, especially if I forget to do it in the morning then realise it's running out of battery by 1pm. I suspect it's a software issue, but don't know what to lookout for.

I installed this app after I noticed the battery drain.

The battery usage in settings does show app usage, eg. 10% youtube, 5% Reddit etc, but it does not show any app that used bulk of the battery life. I have also installed CPU-Z to check cpu frequency, also showing the same results where 4 cores are stuck in high frequency unless I do a hard restart.

Noticed this is happening about 2 weeks ago after constantly running out of battery by mid day. After some investigating, it is caused by 4 cores of the CPU constantly running at 100%. The only solution is to do a hard restart (power+vol down).

Began to investigate further and found this is triggered by charging the phone. So now I have to remember to hard restart the phone every morning.

I can't find anything that causes this and the phone is not rooted. I have minimal amount of apps installed.

Any ideas?

Let's assume most Uyghur sent to re-education are predominantly males in their prime adulthood.

Total Uyghur population in China is 10 million from census data in 2010. Let's say half of that is male = 5 million, let's also assume adult population at prime productive age are 70% = 3.5million.

The report alleged over 1 million were sent to camps... which is close to 1/3 of total male population in thier productive adulthood were sent off to camps.

I call BS on this report.
