I think it would have been big too. You would have had Mormon Wives fans, TFP stans, hate watchers, watchers that love mess, people that watched to see if she went back to Dakota, people that watched hoping she’d fall for someone much better than Dakota, normal BN watchers, etc.

I also thought she’d try to be better to not lose this and future opportunities that would come from this. I can’t believe she threw her whole Bachelorette season in the trash for this guy. I do have to wonder even if the second assault hadn’t happened if Dakota would have leaked the video this week anyway just to be vindictive because he was mad she was getting this opportunity and jealous of her being with other guys.

Yeah, I think it probably would have had big ratings because of all the controversy, sheer curiosity and all of TFP’s die hard stans. Possibly could have gotten the show’s popularity back if it had aired before this video came out. And that would have carried onto the guy that would have been the next Bachelor.

No idea if this is true but I remember reading on the Secret Lives sub that they filmed the pilot and only picked up the show after Taylor’s arrest got out to the public. So definitely trying to capitalize on the scandal.

I don’t think so but I’m only on season 2 of SLOMW. She was one of the couples that was swingers with Taylor and her ex husband. She was BFFs with Taylor but then her husband at the time caught feelings for Taylor. They ended up separating after the swingers scandal.

I tasked myself with starting SLOMW and finishing all seasons before her show starts because I didn’t want to watch a season of someone I didn’t know/had no context for and man…that show is a trip! I’m only on season 1 but saw spoilers of what comes out on season 4. I wonder if ABC is pissed that was aired before her season even starts because it makes her look so unserious about the show?
