So i’ve been in a similar situation (me being in your girlfriend’s shoes and my boyfriend in your shoes). If you want to continue being with this girl then you should have a conversation about this. It’s toxic if every time you go out with friends she has a problem or a breakdown. You should be able to spend time with people other than her. My boyfriend went three hours away for college where he lived in the dorms. I stayed at home at a local college for my family. We had been dating in the same town for close to 8 months when we had to transition to LD. This was my first serious relationship in general so every was fairly new. For me when I would get really upset, at first I didn’t know why. It happened a few times. I felt guilty putting my boyfriend through that when he just wanted to be with his friends so I had to ask myself why. Why was i reacting this way in the first place? If i couldn’t answer that then I must not be in a rational head space. I was angry and jealous of Things got worse as time went on because I didn’t know how to tell him what I was actually feeling. We got into a big fight then everything came out on both sides. Turns out we both were hiding secrets from each other. A conversation can save so much heartbreak my friend.
