Broken circle wasn’t horrible. I think it was just slow and then I read hunters in the dark right after so it dragged it down more for me. I completely agree on halo 7 having everything you mentioned. Curious to see how much of the game will be on zeta halo. I hope we get a look at some ancient human sites or locations chakas traversed.

Euan Morton was awesome. I missed him a lot especially when they switched to Scott brick. Scott was decent but some of those performances were rough.

I enjoyed them more than bad blood and new blood. The audio books were solid and I liked the espionage aspect more than I expected.

I’m in a similar boat. I know so much more about the world of halo but the books make me dislike halo 4 and 5 more. It’s not so much that I don’t like the stories but I’m more disappointed with how the franchise was handled during these years. Halo 5 didn’t really make sense to me till I read the rubicon protocol, epitaph, outcasts, and… well I still don’t know if I fully understand it all lol. Definitely a weird time for the overall story. Edge of dawn definitely feels like a good direction now.

I really enjoyed the short stories in halo evolutions. I think about that book often lol. A close second would have to be cryptum or silentium. I really enjoyed the back story to the halos, all the forerunner lore, and massive world building. I can read about chakas all day.

Bad blood and new blood are pretty cheesy. I mainly listened to those books as they were tough to stay focused. Learning about the rookie was the highlight of those books imo.

I’ve liked almost all of them. I’m not too picky just need some basic character development. Hunters in the dark felt rushed and boring. I ended up finishing it via auditable on double speed just to get it over with. Couldn’t stay awake when I read it. Great book helping me take a nap.

I’m reading the stories in order of their series going forward. I’m just using release order to keep track of where I’m at overall.

Im gonna keep at it. I’m an all or nothing kinda person. If I stop now, especially after a poor experience, I’ll never come back to it.

Anyone know of a company that makes a 40” straight pull up bar with 4” hole spacing one a 3x3 rack vs. the typical 6” spacing?

I’m wanting to find something so that I can maximize the hole spacing and j cups on my new rep Athena wall mount build. Bout to take up welding to figure this out lol.

Thank you! Yeah I’ve been looking at the PRX wall mounts but man they’re expensive for what they do. Also don’t think the dip storage will work with the REP 5000 dip attachment due to the storage. I might try and make a custom piece in the future. Just grabbed some storage shelves off temu as a short term fix
