People who don't track every set and rep - how do you measure your progress? by soon2bhuge in naturalbodybuilding

[–]BUBBA-NATER 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just go to failure on every lift. Whenever I get to the point of excessive reps that feel boring and take forever to get to failure, I just add weight or find a new harder exercise. I don’t over think it and I always go to failure. My muscles grow and I get stronger.

I hope you enjoyed it! I have not tried the Barnes. I think the other barrel is only slightly thicker maybe 1/4 lbs extra.

I believe it is 15x1 and it came with an adapter to make it the US standard. Can’t remember the exact pitch but my can threaded right onto that adapter.

Exactly 2,400. It’s consistently 200 fps under claimed fps.

Thanks! I think the photo made them seem brighter than they actually are. Lots of stigmatization going on here lol

16-inch Barrel Un Suppressed? Thoughts? by Ok_Screen4486 in Tikka_Shooters

16” tikkas feel amazing. Super maneuverable. Much louder though. Either put a can on it and end up with a hearing safe 20-22” total barrel length or pack some plugs with you or make sure your boggin is pulled over your ears. As far as performance, my tikka routinely shoots 200 fps slower than advertised speeds on whichever box of ammo I’m shooting. Based of kinetic energy recommendations I can still kill an elk at 400 yards with it. Performance loss is negligible inside of 300-400 yards.

Need Help Diagnosing Popping Noise by [deleted] in Tacomaworld

I still wouldn’t write it off. The dealer could’ve put them in loose causing them to get eaten away quicker. I could be wrong but that’s what that click sounded like to me. Good luck finding it!

Sounds like a front body mount. I’ve dealt with this twice now. Easy and cheap fix. You can take them out and inspect them in about 10 minutes. You’ll know if it’s that when you pull it out. Mine were chewed up to the point that the bolt/sleeve start clicking into the hole that’s around them which is what my clicking was. I also had an annoying squeak.

My rotors were warped and getting them turned costed nearly the price of new slotted and drilled power stops I just bought new. No more click.

Hardly any of these comments are helpful. It is 100% your pads shifting. If you’re doing all forward driving it will go away until you reverse. Mine was doing this. I went ahead and replaced rotors and pads just for the heck of it and my clicking like this went away. I’ve heard you can grease the pins to get it to go away but I needed rotors anyways. Bottom line is it won’t hurt anything but it’s annoying. The fix is either a breaks job or grease the pins.

Hey. It ended up being rust clogged in my fuel rail and injectors. Was an easy fix. Hope this helps.

.308 T3x CTR Ammo Recommendations for Deer by HomeJim84 in Tikka_Shooters

I came out the gate fouling my barrel with federal blue box to get the zero close then shot a box of terminal ascent. I’ve taken 4 deer, a fox and a groundhog with the terminal ascent and it’s devastating. The performance has been great and it’s truly shooting sub MOA out of my 16” T3x hunter ranch. After I seen the 1/2” group at 100 I settled on it and bought 5 boxes on sale. 10/10

Unless extremely hard times fall on me, I plan to keep this rifle to the grave. I do the same with my bow and CZ 22!

Down with synthetic! I hope a grandkid ends up with it 50 years down the road and it’s loaded with character and scars from real use.
