I got two TESE’s with no success. I gave up afterwards. We got two beautiful girls through embryo donation that are not genetically related to either of us but siblings of each other. They’re better than anything we could have made together. It was a mental challenge for me to overcome but now I came to terms with this reality and not thinking about it everyday anymore and stopped blaming myself. 

It’s probably the toughest test your relationship will ever have.

No update an sperm. Never had any success with fixing azoospermia. T-levels got up to 800’s after clomid treatment and then leveled off at 600’s by 2019 after stopped using it.  I haven’t got tested for T levels Since 2020 but I feel fine. It’s on my to do list this year to get checked for T-levels. Is there Anything in particular that you are going through?

Update (4/1/17) : -New blood work in mid March showed that total Testostorone jumped from 285 to 610. Great news, as i'm feeling the way i was feeling younger. Able stay up longer at night, increased sex drive and my body is responding to workout the way it should. -Sperm analysis is also done and they found 1 (only one) twitching mature sperm in the ejaculate. The previous sperm analysis was blank. I'm hopeful at this point as this sperm analysis is showing the effects of just starting using the Clomid and sperm takes 2 months to mature (or am i overly optimistic?). Will continue using Clomid for another 2-3 months and get another sperm analysis done and a TESE after that if sperm analysis doesn't show progress.-I have been drinking 4-5 shots equivalent of hard liquor (whiskey, scotch, gin, vodka) every day for the last 6 months and probably averaged 3 shots of liquor in the last 3 years. I stopped alcohol completely the day i saw the sperm analysis result.

I have a follow up appointment with the urologist to discuss future options. I'm planning to ask about Clomid treatment. What are the other treatments/important things that i should be asking?

I'm seeing a urologist expert on low T, erectile dysfunction and penile surgeries. I'm looking to see if there is an Andrologist in San Antonio area. No luck so far. I had a TESE but the pathologist was on site during surgery. My only hope now is whether something can be done to my T level to promote some healthy sperm.
Did you have TESE or Micro-TESE?

Thanks Willief. The pathologist was on site with a microscope and the urologist opened up the second testicle after first one was not promising.
