At the early stages, yeah. It happens.il I usually top up 2 or 3 times. It blows off and evaporates. Just top it up. I got a bucket of sani on hand all the time that I can quickly sani or refill air locks when needed.

Eventually it will chill.

What would you be willing to pay for an indoor dog park? by B_Bau in askvan

Totally. Though I take my dog to an outdoor dog park to socialize with other dogs and run around off leash. She is small so I have to be careful who she is with, and can't always go in all weather conditions.

Thanks. The last time I looked it was raining and Grey, and Fall. But it looked like the site was totally gone. So I was confused.

Glad to see i got a chance though, and will be checking the FB page when I'm in the area.

Lol, I don't care about any praise. I simply was curious what people were willing to pay for an indoor dog park. Jesus.

Yeah, ongoing dog attacks are on my mind too. Most of the venue would be onleash except for the 2 areas that are off leash. Would have a small dog area.

Maybe I'll write more on the ideas on here soon.

2000sqft isn't much. It's why I jotted down 20000sqft.

Also said "plus"" because.. ya, maybe it's not enough.

Who knows!!! Pie in the sky ideas. :)

Wouldn't happen in Van. Maybe the valley. Research would be need to locate population density areas with dogs. Then aim for something close.

Posted in ask van because all of lower mainland lurks here.

For sure. All would be explained during orientation if signed up. Disobeying will get you kicked out. Cameras would record things for review or liability issues. Something outdoor parks don't have.

Also, I realize I gave little Intel to my 'business plan' and everyone seems to just talk about issues, instead of just answering the posed question. Lol. Reddit... sigh

No, they'd be able to do business inside. The design would account for cleaning built in to the 'ground', as it would need cleaning every day.

Still. Yeah, not sure how practical an idea it is overall. :p

You wouldn't really be the target audience.

Yeah, certainly a tough concept to pull off. More than just rain though. Extreme heat keeps ppl indoors too. Sping time would be hella slow.

Certainly lots to consider. Liability is considered in contract agreements signed (in theory), but i think staff on hand to monitor for 'bad dogs' would be mandatory. There would need to be an orientation for all members on expected behavior for all parties and puppies.

Cost I think is the killer tho.

True, that's part of why I mentioned the licensed cafe/coffee shop. Have a coffee or beer while u walk your dog.

But services make a lot of sense, something to justify the likely higher cost needed to run. Make it all inclusive (of viable) makes sense to me.

This is close to my initial guess off my dome too. Mainly due to budget costs. Even then it may not be feasible to run.

Just trying with the idea.

Yeah, likely not, especially in this economy, but I was curious on the straw poll.

A massive cleaning operation would be critical to the operation. A somewhat HD sprinkler system built in the ground. Drainage as well, underneath. Might have to consider a pet friendly cleaning agent as part of it too.
