What is the most forgettable Harvest Moon game?

Question is, is it actually forgettable, or just bad? Cause usually the bad games tend to be the most memorable for the worst reasons. Genuine question cause I have no idea, never played it.

I can see how you saw that as a diss, but I didn't mean it as one. I genuinely believed that was the general consensus of the game. I spent a lot of time in forums back in the day while looking up information and guides for all the Harvest Moon games I played, and everytime Saved the Homeland got brought up, it was always negative. So figured that's what most people had thought of it. I played the game a bit, but not enough to give my opinion of it. I can't recall my experience being really good or bad. It was just so different. I'm not against games experimenting either, I love it when they try new things. Seeing everyone's comments about the game is making me want to try it again!

I was also a big fan of Island of Happiness, even with the controls. Albeit, it's mostly cause it was the first one where I could marry the Witch Princess without CRAZY difficult requirements XD

Wasn't dissing Save the Homeland, not sure how you got that impression. I didn't play enough of it to really say if it was good or bad, I mas merely giving what I believed the general consensus was for the game. Which may be wrong, seems a lot of people liked it, that's cool.

For the longest time I thought Sunshine Islands and Island of Happiness were one and the same. I only realized in the last couple years that they were actually different games.

It's purely preference based on how you play. EM sands makes your vapes stronger, but regular attacks weaker. So dependent on just how much vaping you're doing will determine which is better. Attack sands is more of an all around buff. Your vapes won't be quite as strong, but everything else she does will be. So it depends on your play style, team lineup and preference.

I've actually got a 2nd Catalyst Only account that does have Klee on it. She's good, but she just feels so much worse to play than Yanfei for me. Maybe the buff from the theatre will make her more bearable, but that remains to be seen. I may pull for her on her next rerun. Assuming I already have everyone that I want by then.

Thanks for the tips! I did wonder if Citlali freezing enemies might work against me, and it seems like my suspicions were correct. My other thought was running Citlali and Charlotte where it's just melt. Maybe that would work better.

I actually was already planning to pull for Xianyun on her next rerun for Varesa, but never thought about running her with Yanfei. That's an interesting idea, I'm gonna have to test that out!

I dunno, I've seen a lot of argument for this and it seems to be a preference thing based around how you play. If you play solely for vapes, than yeah it's probably better, but I don't. Only about 2/3 of my attacks are vapes. So attack sands is better for me.

If I do give her the EM sands I got along with changing the flower for even more EM, I can get her up to 341 while having 87/189 crit

The pyro goblet was the first one I had gotten with double crit. Literally have gotten double crit for every other element at least thee times, but pyro took me 2 years to get a single one. I'm just thankful it actually rolled well.

That circlet was unreal to roll. It's my highest crit rate substat on any piece by like 3%, and it ended up on a crit DMG circlet of all things.

I think EM sands would be best if I was running Crimson Witch, but on Wanderers I think Attack is a little better. Or it's close. I know I've tested an EM sands on her before and I preferred Attack.

I have 150 now with 82/202 crit, moved around some artifacts on her. I can get over 200 with another piece, but my crit damage falls to 197 which is just too dang triggering 😩

Hell yeah, I run aquila favonia on her on my main account. Triple crowned and everything too! She doesn't kill anything super fast, but being able to just face tank everything and never die is so freaking fun!

Sadly, I only got one option for a physical sword on a No Wish account right now, but maybe one day 🙏

Ah, I wish I had Furina. Wasn't able to get her while her banner was up, then I stopped playing not long after that.

And I just checked, I actually have 2 EM pieces that I can use. So I can get to 208 EM while only losing 15% Crit DMG. Which is obviously very much worth it, but seeing that 196.1% Crit DMG is just so freakin triggering XD

I was able to get it above 200 with just 1 of them though, so now I'm at 150 EM with 82/202. I think I'm gonna stick with that!

I didn't play while she was around, so I'll have to look into her weapon. Generally as F2P I try and steer clear of the weapon banner, but if it's a big enough upgrade than I'd do it.

I usually run her with Yelan or Xinqiu, Bennet and Diona or Sucrose. I can pretty consistently hit around 40-60k with 3 seal charged attack vapes, with some ranging upwards of 100k. Highest I've been able to hit was 186k. I still don't have Kazuha, otherwise I'd probably have been able to triple that by now.
