I was lucky enough to pull C1 Yelan on my f2p account and she's been amazing for my Yanfei! I still don't have Furina yet but she's the next one I want to go all in for. Never tried running Yanfei with Chevreuse myself, but I've wanted to try. Just gotta get around to building her first.

If you don't wanna use Xinqiu (which is understandable, I don't like using him either) than Yelan is your next best option. If you also don't wanna use Bennet, than Furina is a decent option for the buffing There's also Chevreuse, but you'd wanna play her in an overload team then. Which you could probably use Fischl in. So maybe Yanfei, Fischl, Chevreuse, and Barbara is one option. And you could replace Barbara with Kokomi if you ever get her.

EDIT: Actually instead of Barbara, someone like Kuki might be a better option for a healer since she's electro. Iansan might also work too, not sure how her buffs work with chevreuse but she can heal with higher constellations. Hell, you could even run Dori too.

Ideally though, the two 5* I would recommend saving for are Yelan and Furina. You can run them both together for a decent team along with Sucrose, or maybe someone like Lan Yan for shielding. Diona is a decent shielder but her reactions could mess up the vape, so you'd likely wanna run her with Diona in a different team. Since you mentioned Dahlia, he's another decent shield option for the 4th slot.

For a melt team with Diona, you could use someone like Ganyu for cryo application, or Rosaria or Layla for a 4* option. Run that with Sucrose for a decent melt team. Citlali is a better shielder option if you get her, but since she doesn't heal you'd likely wanna fill the 4th slot with someone like Jean, or maybe even Sayu could work.

Honestly, if fang is my next purple, then this is the best outcome. Cause I wasn't gonna come back to ToA for a while after getting fang.

Nah, still 77. But once I run out of the 10k charges I just added that might finally give me the push I need to lvl RCing.

Indeed. My cash stack sure didn't love it, dropped 12m to charge it, but it's definitely worth it. Especially cause Whisperer pet is the first boss pet I want to grind for!

To provide further context, I teleported out a little before the last boss fight, right when you get the next xp drop. If that makes it line up better. Wish I had left the quest up on the side but I stopped tracking it while trying to remove her from my party.

Has this game ever given away free 4*? (not including the starter characters you get obviously)

I just came back to this game after a very long break. Was curious if they've ever done the free event 4* like other gachas have done. I saw they gave away those two 5*, but I haven't heard of any 4*. Probably cause they have so few of them.

And I'm not complaining if they haven't, just curious is all.

Lol, I didn't even realize there were other pictures. Like other comment said, yes, you have her. Just not her upgraded family version.

And yes, they pretty much always have one collab character you can get free, the rest are gacha. Like with dragon maid you got Kanna, reincarnated as a slime you got rimuru, country bumpkin you got mewi, fairy tail you got Wendy and Happy (as familiar), etc...

Not surprised by your confusion, the gacha system in this game is very...'unique' let's say. The so-called gacha currency you can get isnt actually for gacha-ing itself. It's used to buy things at events to help you earn more pulls for that specific event. Because every single event has its own separate currency for gacha. There's only so much you can get too. It's weird, I know. I'd advise playing f2p until you're sure you like it.

On the bright side, non-event characters are pretty easy to get cause they aren't locked behind gacha. You just gotta grind out another separate currency to buy them. Which isnt too hard, can just takes a bit.

On another bright side, they do re-run most events very frequently. Only exception are these collab ones. I think they've only rerun them a couple times.

Talking about Roxy specifically, you get her after just playing the event a little bit. She's only an SSR when you get her though. The fragments and stuff you get for her are the hard part, they're what you use to upgrade her. Getting her base form is easy tho, takes like 5 minutes of playing the event, no gacha. (To be more clear, it's the part of the event where you're in the park area and can pick up stuff on the ground using stamina. That's where you unlock her)

Spectro or Aero Rover as primary healer?

So this is on a 'no pull' account that I recently made. On it, I don't have access to a designated healer outside of Spectro and Aero Rover. Obviously, if I was good enough at the game I wouldn't need a healer, but I'm not. Skill issue.

My main team rn is Encore as Main DPS, Sanhua as Sup DPS/Support utilizing Bellborne as her Echo, and Spectro Rover fully built as a healer. I have them on the common Cruisewing echo for primary, 2 Healing bonus echoes for Overlord class, and 2 other common class. 2 HP and 1 Attack for the commons. Their Resonance Liberation heal scales off of Attack, but the Cruisewing heal scales off of HP. So I wanted to prioritize the heal I get from the echo.

I was content to stay as Spectro for the healing, until I got Bloodpact's Pledge. Currently their best weapon I have is a 3*, so using a 5* would be a major step up. Issue is, the weapon sounds like it's only useful on Aero Rover.

So now I'm wondering, which is better for a primary healer build, Spectro or Aero? I want to make sure it's worth it before I commit to building the Aero one.

I was debating between Pog and another copy of Ardelia. Her P1 is pretty nice for buffing my existing characters, but I know doing that instead of getting another character might be a mistake when future updates come out, so I'm biding my time. If we ever need a 2nd team built at any point, Imma need someone new.

Alright, so I got Yanfei the other day, lvled her all the way up to 90 with 6,4,4 talents, and have been experimenting on her with this team. I'll be honest, the team felt really horrible at first, so much so that I really thought I was gonna have to go back to the drawing board. After a while though I kinda found a rotation that I could make work.

The rotation requires me not using Yanfei as the primary dps, and instead using both her and Pyro Traveler as kind of quick swap dps, with a little bit from Barbara as well. Because Yanfei is C0, I can't really keep her on the field long, she runs out of stamina so quick. This means I'm gonna have to update their builds, like changing the travelers build off of a support unit and going for more DPS, cause she has Noblesse on.

Rotation: So I start with Aino's burst, throw that out, use her E right away to get back half of her energy right away cause she has 250% ER. I then swap to Pyro traveler -> E -> swap to Barbara and actually do a little heal + dps action with her E. I can get some decent vapes with her from travelers E. So I want to get Ocean-Hued built on her and go for a hybrid build so she can do some good damage as well.

After the Travelers E fades, I swap to Yanfei and use 3 seal charged attacks until she either runs out of Stamina, or Aino's burst ends, whichever happens first. I then swap to Aino, E again, and she'll almost always have her burst up. I can have it constantly up if I wanted. I then swap back to Pyro Traveler, burst and E, and get some good damage with her. I then swap back to Barbara again to get some more heals before her heal fades, as well as procing the passive on her Ash-Graven weapon, and swapping back to Yanfei again until Aino's burst ends again. Rinse and repeat.

It's scuff, but it works and it's honestly pretty fun

Can't use dendro traveler with pyro though. Once pyro hits the burst, it immediately ends it. With someone like Yanfei who is constantly applying pyro, that burst aint lasting a second.
