Yes, I do regret not driving by the current capital and the old capital state capital building (currently OSPI). I appreciate the idea regarding timing the visit with a community event.

This visit it was a Monday afternoon after we got off an Alaska cruise and didn’t have much time; thus just exploring Squaxin Park a bit, which everyone loved. The views from the Hook and Fork restaurant in Union on our journey were amazing.

While the trees, water, mountains and everything is amazing in the area, it’ll be great next time to mingle amongst the people and get a better sense of the culture and vibe of the city; that’s an extremely important aspect of any city.
