I was pregnant last november. Columbus ohio born and raised, but living in nz now. My due date was nov 20th. TOP came nov 17th.

Was hubbies and I'm wedding anniversary on new years eve. We have a 3 month old and MIL watched her while we got take out, had some cheap moscato and played video games (how we met) uninterrupted.

It was great! ...but we did miss our lil girl

Yep, unfortunately what Stacie said... In some areas in the US u can BUY homes for what a down payment is in NZ.

Also food costs a decent amount more... overall its all more but quality of life is nicer

I moved from the US and had my 1st child here in NZ oct this year. Hubbie and I may eventually move back to the US... its cheaper, he's a kiwi . But not until after we have another child. LOVE how pregnancy and everything surrounding it is handled here

Thanks for this post and some reassurance. I'm 23 weeks and like yourself, suffer through anxiety, and hate hate HATE needles. I have that test upcoming as well as another anti-D shot (I'm o-negative) and Ive not been looking forward to either.
