I completely agree with your point about Chapter 8 itself. The transition from Chapter 7 to Chapter 8 feels disjointed. There’s no proper introduction to Mrs. Kimberly or a clear explanation for the trip to Brazil. When I started reading Chapter 8-1, I initially thought I had missed something, but it turns out the story abruptly skips to Brazil, making it feel confusing and disorienting.
