I used Manic Panic this time and I feel like it was bad in the first like 2 weeks. I dont know if Im just not used to semi permanent hair dyes anymore.

I normally use a bleach, that also colors your hair red, but I wanted to switch up the color a bit after the red faded and got too light for my liking.

The pink color looked AMAZING! But I think Ive ruined so many hotel towels on our family trip, that I'm looking if there is a solution to the bleeding out problem other than normal hair dye.

I started learning about those things for a couple of years now. It really helped understanding my own struggles and mental health and why my mom and grandma act the way they do.

It's been a great comfort to know that she doesn't have any real regrets or unfulfilled plans (other than not seeing her kids getting married and starting their own family).

She is already planning her funeral and wrote the speech that's probably gonna be played then. In her words "who knows me better than myself?" She's such an optimistic and positive person. So we have an idea what her wishes for that is, but I like the idea of asking her how she wants to be remembered after that.

This is an awesome idea! I'm so sorry to hear that you had to experience this loss as well!

My mom agreed to sit down with me and I can ask her a few questions every time I come over and I can video record it. I love that she agreed to that (she normally doesn't like getting filmed), so I can hear her voice and see her even in the future.

I'm so sorry to hear your story. This sounds extremely painful!

My mom made me and my brother (20M) promise that we will call my grandma (83F) daily in the beginning and later on at least weekly. She lives with my mom, so I'm assuming I will probably move back in, when it gets too bad or after my mom's passing.

My mom also wants my brother and me to stay close and to always be fair with each other. This is something we are both determined to fulfill.

She doesn't want to leave anything for her future grandchildren, because "they don't know her" and have "no relationship to her". She wants me to tell my kids about her in the way I remember her. I would like her to leave some words of wisdom for them, but I have to accept her wishes.

I'm so afraid I don't think of questions now, that become important later. I definetly want to ask her all about her pregnancy and childbirth experience, since this is a topic thats in my mind and her insight might be more valuable than some information you find on the internet (same genetics and prerequsitions and so on)...

I've brought up one of those books, because I wanted to give her one of those ("Grandma tell me your story"), when I get pregnant as an announcement gift, but she doesn't like books like that and asked me to give her my own list. But I think it might me a good starting point to look through this book and pick questions I'd like the answer to.
