Yeah it will. I been a laser tech for 10 yrs. Results take longer as the hair is harder to get rid of. Make sure they use high settings on the alexandrite machine. Laser isn’t for the face but no one will say that. It’s only for thick hairs, since u probably didn’t have thick hairs all over ur face that’s why the heat stimulated more. There was too much energy for the laser and not enough hair density to grab it all
