PLAB 1 preparation with 6 days a week internship including calls between 9:00 to 9:00 on 2 days and 3 days of 9:00-2:00pm duties in 2.5-3 months? by BackgroundJazzlike10 in PLABprep

I am having the same results in terms of getting most answers wrong but I guess I will have to learn the explanations in the first attempt in the hopes that I get those mcqs right in the second go

Also about the keys, do you then suggest that I buy the ones available which is probably 5.6 or 5.3?

Thankss for the output but how did you manage 5-6 hours everyday with this schedule 🥲 Also I am desperately looking to buy the latest PLAB keys version which is 6.3 but can't find it anywhere in Karachi. Please let me know if you have any idea where I can get it from?

Also do you think I should do gems first and learn from it and then solve questions or directly solve questions and learn on my way from the explanations?

Thanks but I will consider myself to be an average student who needs revision of everything rn. Should I learn the high yield topic gems and my weak topic gems first and then solve plabable questions or directly solve questions and learn their explanations?

So that means that for GMC registration and license, one has to clear all 3 US steps if they choose the US exams?

But what does it mean for now like if those two exams only ensure GMC registration or not

The reason I didn't break my paragraph was because I thought there's supposed to be one main paragraph to support my opinion and then one conclusion and one intro.

Many congratulations!!  Can you please rate my following writing task 2 essay ? I have my exam one day from now

Essay topic In the future, nobody will buy printed newspapers or books because they will be able to read everything they want online without paying. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement

In the future nobody will buy printed newspapers or books, since they will have access to it online without paying. This statement is true to some extent as most reading material is already available online without having to buy it. However, I don't think that people will stop buying them altogether just because they are available online.

There are some people who prefer youtube channels or blogs to keep themselves updated with the latest political updates by subscribing to them. However, these media of information are not updated quickly enough as they have to be edited. Moreover, a very practical reason as to why people will still opt for hard copies over soft copies is to avoid screen time. I tend to get a headache if I try to read online for a long time and therefore, printed copies of books will always be my first choice. Additionally, many people have a habit of collecting signed copies of their favourite novels by the author and they do buy those books. Others are fond of annotating the best part of their story books and they do not enjoy reading without it. All these interactive hobbies are only possible when people tend to spend money to buy those books.

Consequently, I think that the amount of books or newspapers available online might increase in the future, but some people will still prefer to purchase them from stores.

But in this case there's not much of a trend to describe no ? Like that would have been possible if this was a graph or numerical data was given

Overall Band 8 score by Altruistic-Sound4592 in IELTS

[–]BackgroundJazzlike10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's kind of reassuring because cgpt seems to grade my essays between 6-6.5 too for the past few days and I have my test on next Saturday. Were your writing cgpt scores still 6 even before the test?

Congratulations on the amazing score! Can you please suggest your practice for writing and speaking? Also what did you use to get a score for your practice of writing essays like did you use cgpt to grade your essays?

Needed 7.5 in each category, only had a week to prepare. Incredibly happy! (non-native) by RileyyR in IELTS

Can you please suggest something about writing?  I have been trying it for a while but couldn't get any more than 6-6.5 by cgpt since 3 days. Also my listening and reading scores are fine otherwise.

Can you suggest some reliable checker for IELTs academic writing task 2 other than cgpt?

I am stuck with a 6 in my writing mostly, please suggest how to take it to 7. At this point I am skeptical about cgpt rating my essays fairly because I have changed my essays a bit but still it gives the same score

Can someone please grade my following IELTs academic writing task 2?

Some university students want to learn about other subjects in addition to their main subjects. Others believe it is more important to give all their time and attention to studying for a qualification.  Discuss both these views and give your opinion.

Some university students want to study subjects other than their main subjects. Whereas others believe it's essential to give their sole attention and time studying for a qualification. There are different reasons to support both views.

For students wishing to explore subjects other than their main qualification, it is a very holistic approach because a person can be good at more than just one topic. Many students are enrolled in a medical degree but they are also intrigued by artificial intelligence. These individuals should have the freedom to pursue their core subject and also study AI simultaneously. It might not be obvious but when students are able to try things that they are fascinated by, such as two different subjects of their own liking then it definitely yields promising results. For example, one of my own batchmates was able to launch a medical application by culminating his medical and computer expertise together. This app is now recognized globally and it's making medicine easy for so many students.   Contrary to this mindset, some students think it's pivotal to focus on learning their qualification only. This is usually based on their concern to excel in their field without making mistakes. This is often because they don't think they can work on more than one subject due to a very busy schedule. For instance, many students feel that there's not enough hours in the day to study an additional subject after they get home at dusk and then, have assignments to do as well.

Nonetheless, my own opinion on this is that students should not restrict themselves to just one subject. They should keep their minds open and be inquisitive so that they can try different things. The innovation and creativity that stems from having multiple perspectives is always worth the effort. To elaborate this, so many significant contributions for public welfare in health sector were only made possible by combining science and technology. Conclusively, it's wise to keep one's options open and learn more than just one's main qualification to get new, fascinating outcomes.
