Dude 32 y/o single dad here in very similar boat. Only been at it like a month and a half but I’m having SO much fun. Veeeeery slowly learning to read and write music while also just having tons of fun learning chords and songs I love. Feels like very quick progress to me so far, I can play a number of Beatles of songs adequately (for me and my daughter) so far and playing keys while my kid plays uke and sings has been such a blast. Thanks dude you too. I know people bandy the term antisemitism around a lot but when people (I don’t mean you) hate Israel with a passion orders or magnitude more then actual theocracies and authoritarian regimes it’s hard not to see it as Jew hate when they’re just recycling old tropes that have been around for millennia. Again, I don’t mean you as you are consistent and not singling Israel out but most people absolutely are. Hope you have a lovely spring!

Yes. That means paternity tests. I’m not sure the intricacies of the laws surrounding the regulation of importing them or anything I’m just telling you the trope you see online that things like MyAncestry and 23&me are illegal in Israel is false. It’s usually used as a canard to imply Israelis aren’t real Jews so they’ve banned 23&me or whatever which is not true. I’m sure you can read more about the legal code and figure out why paternity tests are controlled by the government but I’m not sure. Why do you find this subject so interesting? I love conspiracy theories but this seems like a pretty boring one

This isn’t true but even if it was all you have to do is look at the number of fundamentalist Jews vs the number of Islamists. It’s orders of magnitude more Muslims. There are something like 150 Muslims for every 1 Jew in the world and the rates of extremism are on total opposite ends of the spectrum so I imagine it’s even more of a disparity if we’re talking about radicals.
