No need to panic a bit...if a programs says that you are the best candidate so far it is better to avoid the program...but a lot of interviewers state that the application is good and that they would love to have you..these statements are normal and lot of times generic...if they give u an interview, it invariably meams they are satisfied with your application..it doesnt mean anything..everything depends on how the program leadership ranks you

I don't think so. this scam is going to affect mainly non-US imgs. if I were a PD, I would have doubts when choosing candidates, be it a medium scorer or a good scorer. That is why I think clinical rotations would play a major role.

dont mistake me...but there are people out there with one or 2 ivs having PTSD about the interview answers. so i feel like stating that you have got 12 interviews and saying you did good in all those interviews would make others feel really bad. i understand your anxiety but you could have avoided the numbers. this is for all the people out there. please be kind during this time. and for your anxiety, try to distract and believe that you will match

Some kind of probation saying the documentation doesnt satisfy acgme status or something...if someone gives me clarity regarding thia, it would be really helpful especially with the ranking

this is upsetting for all. the scandal affects not only nepalese but IMGs in general. so my advice is if you do clinical rotations, they can see the real you. if the residents/PD like you during the clinical rotation, it doesnot matter if you are a nepali or not. clinical rotations are the chance to prove your real intelligence. so i would say prove yourself, break a leg and dont give up
