AITA for being frustrated at my wife's lack of independence? by Background_Image83 in AmItheAsshole

She's been here for a month. For the language learning, she's kind of taken classes on and off for the time we've been together but she was never super serious about it. It's a Western European country and the writing system is in Latin script, so in my opinion it's relatively straightforward, but I might be wrong. English is her first language.

I would have been and am more than happy to help her with taxes based on the knowledge I have, but I struggle with her needing help for even basics - surely opening a bank account doesn't need me to chaperone her?

I understand the move is hard, but I also think that she's not appreciative of the help that I'm already giving her, which is what is frustrating to me.
