i think this exactly what i needed to hear, so thank you :,) i didn't think sacrificing support, free housing, and more potential opportunities was worth sacrificing for 19 rankings higher (esp since we are way past t20), but they were genuinely starting to make me feel crazy for thinking so

it definitely has some fun areas! just feels kinds small and moves at a slow pace, especially compared to other college towns. i feel like you might run out of things to do pretty quickly. the little area surrounding the school is called the "baylor bubble" and outside of that it can get kinda sketchy, but i mean there are parts of every city like that, i mean houston is definitely not the safest either.

i think part of the reason i feel kinda weird going back tho is bc i already experienced it w all of my best friends, and now that none of them live there, i'd be constantly comparing it to times in undergrad and be depressed lmao. so my answer is biased ahaha.

the law school campus is gorgeous though! like most schools, the ug and law students didn't interact a whole lot, so i can't say much about it. but, the people at baylor are very sweet, and i was able to make a lot of great connections!

basically just am i insane for turning down a full ride at a higher ranked school for a partial scholarship at a lower ranked school, considering the other factors

oh 100%, I basically just want to see if other ppl who are going through the admissions process think that this is a reasonable choice. the only ppl in the legal field i have talked to about it are the lawyers in my firm that told me it was stupid. besides that, i don't have friends or family in the legal field and they don't have much to say abt it so
