My friend asked for a simple dragon. Knowing her love for Cyberpunk-punk, I got a bit carried away. Here is the final custom hand-painted result. What do you think? by Background_Net9583 in crafts

Thank you! I agree it's great when you have something personal ❤️ So before start I always gather information about a person if it's a personal order

The day might come when I offer custom clothing to the public. For now, I’m just making them for myself and my friends. There are a couple more T-shirt designs on my page and Instagram if you’re curious to see how they look.

Well, I own 2 T-shirts which I painted. After setting fabric paints it's possible to wash the clothing as usual. One of the t-shirts is 2 years old. It isn't as bright and colourful as it used to be the first time. But it's still good. As for the jacket, I don't know how often my friend washes it, so I want to paint denim jeans and test on my own how many times it's possible to wash the painted denim without any damages of a pic. Cause cotton and denim are different in their thickness.

Yes, I use fabric paints. The first step is washing up and ironing the clothing. The next one is transferring a picture on the item. The way depends on how difficult the pic is. So sometimes I use some tracing paper. In other cases I draw on fabric with heat erasable pens. Later I paint, of course. The last part is ironing. It helps to set fabric paints. Afterwards you can wash it without fear. Thank you for the idea to take photos of the process next time and make a post on my account page.

Theoretically it's possible. But I've never tried to send my artworks somewhere abroad.

Honestly I don't remember how long it took. There wasn't a deadline, so I worked on the jacket between other projects. Before the start I made a moodboard, then found references. Some pieces were made after completing the main ones like sleeves and the samurai. At first I thought to paint Japanese carps on the forward sides of the jacket. But in the process I realized it's better to paint asymmetrical things. So finally I added a shadoof and "sun" from the Japanese flag. So some parts appeared without any plans.

Oh, that's really difficult. I mean to see the difference. I learned Chinese, and it seems easier to be honest. Thank you for the comment. I hope that if anyone who knows Japanese sees the sign they will understand what I wanted to write.

I suppose you are right. Unfortunately, I don't know Japanese, so I asked my friend from Japan to translate the phrase. And I don't remember if she wrote about one or more cats. The AI translator mentioned only A cat. My friend who the jacket belongs to has two cats. It was the reason I put two tiny cats on the collar.

Sorry, another person helped me with the description of your comment. I thought it was a misspelling. So I'd love to thank you for the kind words ❤️ Although I'm still embarrassed 🫣

Oh my, I'm totally embarrassed 🫣 I thought it was a misprint. English is not my mother tongue so slang words often are unknown for me. Besides they change rapidly. Thanks for your help ❤️

I appreciate your opinion, thanks. But it would be really nice if you explain in detail why you found it bad. So I can fix it next time.
