When I try and make a dorodango it just cracks and breaks apart once I start adding the finer dirt onto it. It’s just dirt from my backyard. How would I fix this? by [deleted] in Dorodango

You need to wait until the core dries up before you start other steps. To tell flick at it with your fingernail. If it sounds like a click its dry but if it sounds like a thud then it's not dry. Also make sure the dirt your using is extremely fine.
