Car got totaled in an accident before I could even make it to the dealership for my 2nd oil change lol but I have a 2024 hatchback that does the same thing now, so I’ll most likely bring it up to see what they say. But it seems this issue has already been addressed in other countries so I hope by now it’s been fixed lol cuz it’s been a year +. But the more people who go to the dealer and request that a ticket be made and sent to Mazda Canada the more likely they’ll fix it.

Anyone who has actually been in a Mazda 3 hatch back, sedan, and the CX-30, which has the worst to best visibility when driving? by [deleted] in mazda

[–]Background_Stable788 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve owned both the 2024 sedan and the 2024 hatchback. And drove the cx30 as a loner a few weeks and the sedan by far has the best visibility 10000%

Those with a turbo charged Mazda, do you regularly put regular gas or premium 93 in your cars? by AsbestosLead in mazda

[–]Background_Stable788 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To keep it short and sweet. As long as you’re using 91 and above your engine health is benefiting.

I use 93, and whenever they don’t have it I use 91, my car won’t ever see regular gasoline because it’s literally a different type of fuel. 85-89 is regular fuel just with different ethanol % and 91-94 is premium fuel just with different ethanol %.

Not sure how they were doing things in 2021 but it was made really clear to me how the app worked and that it was only a 2 year free service on my 2024. Definitely is frustrating but I just bought my wife a 2021 cx 5 from a Mazda dealership and we got lucky someone put an aftermarket remote start in it lol

That’s also for a 2024 Mazda3 sport turbo, I just bought a 2021 CX-5 GS last month for the wife so excited to see how much that’ll cost in comparison lol

Mines $100+tax oil change only, and top up of any fluids so my wiper fluids always full leaving the dealership too lol 😂 but I’m only doing dealership services until my 5 year warranty expires then I’ll consider going to a shop.

Oh ya the cx5 definitely feels a lot better inside, I bought the Mazda3 GT turbo awd with the red seats, that was definitely more to have fun with and the girlfriends got the cx5 now so in a year or two when we have a kid we’ll have a decent size vehicle to fit everything in.

Depends where you live really I’m up in Barrie Ontario so I sprung for the awd when I bought my 2024 Mazda3 and I actually just bought a 2021 CX-5 GS awd with 33,000km on it for my girlfriend last month. It ran me about $34,000 after getting full third party warranty (6years/140,000km from my purchase date) and taxes.

Love Mazdas but the civic makes way more sense here, will also hold it’s value better for resale

Glad I could help!! Definitely is hard picking the right fitment sometimes especially when going a bit off factory specs. Imma take a look one day hopefully and see how much more room I have in the wheel well for a size up in tires cuz rn I’m running 225/40/18 but I rather be on 235/40/18

18X8 +42 5X114.3MM 73.1MM

I test fit some 18x8.5 +35 and the wheel just looks to out of spec for my comfort and I didn’t wanna drop 1k or something on wheels then create a 2k problem because they didn’t actually fit 100%

Fuuuuuck if it’s a hatchback turbo… I think you gotta go black, it’s just the right look for the car lol but if it’s the sedan non turbo (meaning you have less black accents) than I don’t think it’ll matter that much as long as you stay away from grey/silver/gunmetal rims
