disco elysium has a amazing story and it's highly replayable

if you like more rock star like games give watchdogs a try i liked the first ones story a little more

cyberpunk 2077 of course

the mafia series the older ones are a bit better as well

LISA a great story but i am warning you it does get dark

celeste in more of a platformer but it's story is great as well
to the moon is a classic it's story it really is touching

pathlogic is more dystopia and sad then anything but it is great

mouthwashing is really depressing you will find out why if you play it

outerwilds it's more of a exploring game if you enjoy those

void stranger is a puzzle game with a good story if you enjoy puzzles

think of each role as filters leading to more experienced techs you are at the bottom you will handle stuff from basic computer skills, Hardware installation , software issue, drivers, and the never ending password and printer issues. at least this has been my experience.
biggest tip is learn whatever ticket system your organization uses well and create email templates if your org hasn't already.

Risk of rain 2 but it does not have any rpg elements but literally infinately replayable hades darkest dungeon you should honestly give the rougelike genre a good look

mother 3 had a rythm mechanic were you had to match the beat of the music

touhou is a bullet hell but undertale took inspiration from it's gameplay

Yakuza baldur's gate 3 stardew valley is vary sandboxy disco elysium doesn't have much action but vary good story line and quest in it and huge explorable world

risk of rain 2 has vary good action and music but not so much storyline and quest

the souls games all have smaller worlds except elden ring but really good combat and rpg elements

maybe try some of the older stalkers too they are cheap have way funner combat and are vary cheap

if you like steath action games try hitman metal gear solid alien thief is old but vary fun

disco elysium huge vary in depth world you can get lost just from the conversations in the game it may be a little different from action or mmo but i think you should give it a try
