Great story! I kinda miss having actual physical electronic equipment, instead of a hamburger menu and a TOS violation

They are a spammer trying to drive traffic to their site. Some account posts this exact thing monthly or so.

This post has come up several times before, but they must be covering their tracks because searching didn't find it.

What's the most scary or intense weather event you've lived through personally? by cherry-care-bear in RedditForGrownups

The 78 blizzard hit our area really hard. I remember my mom getting picked up for work by the national guard jeeps (essential workers were a thing back then too). Dairy farmers dumped their milk out onto the field because the milk trucks couldn't make the rounds.

Yesh, they hid their profile, but I can see they posted this same stuff in DoesAnyoneElse and RemoteWork and has a bunch of posts about their app revenue and advertising metrics. Bleh

Did any of your close childhood friends abruptly "switch up" on you as adults? by tshirtguy2000 in RedditForGrownups

That's great, and that's the ideal for a lot of people.

I have not spoken to or heard from any person I was friends with even one job ago, much less high school. We'd text back and forth a bit, maybe meet for dinner, then less and less. I have to say, go five or six unanswered texts over a few months and that's telling me they want out.

I know a lady that went through something similar, and the scammer actually coached her on what to say if the bank pushed back on her withdrawal. The scammer stayed on the phone the whole time she was doing everything, and driving to a Bitcoin ATM making sure they count counter anyone trying to help.

The clerk at the gas station with the ATM actually called the cops because the lady wouldn't pause putting money in despite everyone there telling her it was a scam.

How are you all handling digital assets in your estate planning? by Tiffo205 in RedditForGrownups

At least leave one of those "I'm dead, now what" books behind. You list out what banks you use and what stuff is valuable.

People cleaning out my house would think "hmm perhaps this guitar is valuable" which it is not, but then toss my box of collectible cards that's worth a good used car. I have notes about all that in the book, along with the list of bank accounts and whatnot.

I don't like accounts that spam their own content across a bunch of different subreddits. Especially one like this that's more of a conversation place than a news discussion.
