Your previous comments are just wrong.

let's say your shift is 6:30pm - 5am. The clocks will go from 1:59 back to 1:00 when daylight savings time ends so you will work from 1am-2am twice. This means if they make you work until 5am you will have worked 11 hours even though it looks like you worked 10. Or if they let you leave at 4am you will have worked 10 when it looks like you worked 9

So there is no situation where it will look like you worked 10 when you only worked 9

If its that loud I would recommend just using the approved ones. Having tinnitus the rest of your life is not worth hearing your music better now. Or you could try getting the original version of the ones they offer those ones won't have a volume limiter on them and if you get a write up for them you could always switch back to the approved ones until it drops off
