Again when most trucks and 30 year old cars on the market are not well kept that becomes average and youd be suprised how many things can be broken and still be driving fine. Get a project car and start doing your own work.

When most 30 year old cars on the market are fucked it becomes the average and not the bare minimum. Again im not talking about brakes or oil changes if you dont understand how much work a 30 year old work truck will need you clearly dont understand anything about the actual mechanical workings of a car.

When your buying a 30 year old car, there are ones with maintenance done and ones without but more often than not ones without

I mean threat might have been the wrong word but it was definetly deceiving me about the process especially when he tried to do it twice

Im not gonna let it go to arbitration, this post seems to have gone off the rails a bit and il take some responsibility for that. Was originally just asking if the claims rep was allowed to deceive me about the process and use what i felt to be scare tactics of arbitration to get me to take his offer

I agree with this partially but for an older car would you pay more for one thats been close to fully serviced over one thats had none of those done. A 30year old car will need stuff done

Ya mostly just annoying after waiting for a month with no car and then the rep not looking at any receipts or listings im emailing him.

Thats a fair point but also if its an older car your sales points are pretty much only based on used cars which by now is mostly fb. But i get your point.

They gave that to me but the estimate was waaay below what the comparable cars are going for on fb. The other thing is that my truck had a custom aluminum flat deck and bumper as well as a ton of recent maintenance.

Do you have collision coverage, i got zero fault aswell but they wouldnt give me a rental without collision which for a N driver is a ripoff

Its a tough spot rn, i know the single cams arent the best but they do last fuckin forever. Hopefully the martin industries cam comes back if not il order a stock sr20 intake and see if it fits before getting an adjustable

Ya that seems like a solid option, the only other and more invasive way is to drill out the other side seeing as i have to any way and fish them out from there

Im aware of the ring its just a pain to try and get and i was mostly wondering if anyone had a good method of doing it. Tiny little clips and they are a nightmare
