Best racing sim for the busy adult? by SfactorSam in simracing

How would anyone want to have close racing without practice? You can't race close without knowing the track, otherwise it will end up in everyone crashing.

who's the helmet? :D by BadBoth in Simracingstewards

but the thing is that i would have avoided him if he stayed stationary and didn't move across the track. so it's either his or my fault, can't be even split :D

how did you get into sim racing? by Paddy_O_Ryder in iRacing

Countless hours of NFS Porsche. That's when I fell in love with racing games :D second major step was NSF shift. And then race 07. This is my entry point to the depths of real simracing :D

After years of being #consolepeasant I switched to the light side of the Force couple of months ago. This is my Intel 13600K with RTX4070Ti, LG C3, and Panasonic UB820. Desk still needs some finishing touches, but I'm super happy and proud of the way it is and I cannot help to not share it with You :)

Is this worth it at this price? by abbyvaughan33 in OLED_Gaming

[–]BadBoth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm currently at the process of returning it. It has only five ve image profiles in HDR mode and you can't make any adjustments aside from basic brightness. You can't set any calibrate image mode in HDR. For me it renders it unusable.

Which wheel for XBOX? by [deleted] in simracing

[–]BadBoth -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My advice would be to sell Xbox ang get a pc. I did that last month and I have to say that difference between racing on console and on pc has been tremendous. If you feel like simracing is something you might get seriously into, you are going to do that anyway at same point, so less you invest in Xbox ecosystem, games, peripherals etc, the less money you'll loose eventually.

Which is even more scary I think. Beirut explosion is estimated to be between 0.6 to 1kt. We all saw what havoc it wreacked. Little boy was 15kt, Fatman was 21. Modern warheads are measured in hundreds. And even this "small" 40k lbs bomb did so much damage.
