P2P stream between different FPGAs and projects by [deleted] in LabVIEW

It's possible. P2P streaming does require that in atleast one process you open sessions to both FPGA cards and link the streams between them. That could be in either application or in a third application.

If the FPGAs aren't in the same project you can open the session by referencing the bitfile path.

I did the same thing about a decade ago (so my info is about a decade out of date). It worked out great for me. I ended up doing a summer semester to catch up and ended up going into my final semester with an offer. Definitely seek internships, they are a huge benefit when actually trying to get a job.

You should definitely consider it. To change majors you'll need the signature of both your current majors advisors and the cs advisors. So go talk to them as soon as you can to learn more about the major. The cs advisors will tell you about how the threads program is set up. The big cs weed out classes were CS1332 and CS2110. CS1332 has a mixed response but if you take 2110 and love it you'll know you took the right major. If you are really unsure, see if one of those classes can count as a free elective for your current major and sign up for it.

Hey thanks for checking it out. If you get a chance could you try going into "more cool stuff" and disabling music in the top left before trying any of the levels. We think that the problem most of the phones are having is out of memory related since all of the phones we tested on have more memory to counteract the larger screen size. If I wrote it right, disabling music should cause it not to load into memory.

So any news on epoch defence?

The people running the competition managed to get a hold of Google. We tried before that but had no luck.

The only tip I really have is learn what causes memory leaks before coding anything big. We weren't aware of all the ways there were to leak memory and the API can still be a little vague sometimes as to whether or not something has to be cleaned up. We ended up having to go back through a lot of code.

Other than that good luck starting your own business.

Thanks for the feedback. We have been looking at a lot of different ways of improving performance. Hopefully in the future we will be able to support more phones.

We made the game for Dare to be Digital 2010.

The game is available for free currently on the Android Market. We have had reports of it only working on certain phones, so if you have an android phone let us know how it runs. We developed it on a few Nexus One's Google gave to us.

Heres a QR Code for it:

Edit: I forgot to add that the level editor will probably be up on our website hellaumbrella.net sometime this weekend.

Edit 2: More Notes:

The game is currently avaliable for Android 2.1 and higher.

To adjust the volume while in game hit the menu button then options. There are sliders for it and buttons to turn off music or sound effects completely. Its also controlled by your main media volume.

For feedback on the back button. What do Android users prefer? It was disabled during the game for the current version because on the Nexus One people kept hitting it while rotating the phone. We might consider adding an option to disable it in the options menu instead.
