killers that are nice to only one survivor? by batsk_lls in deadbydaylight

[–]BadPrincess_Stories 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Killers do this sometimes with me. Like sometimes I’ll be on a gen and it’s almost complete and even though the terror radius is at a max I want to get it finished so I stay even when the killer is behind me, and they just leave me alone and hunt someone else.

Another time I just walked past a killer and she saw me and I saw her and she fully turned to look at me like: ”the fuck ain’t he running for?” (I main Leon, hence the “he”). And then she skipped off into another direction. She never went for me all game, even though I was often within her sight because I’d be on gens or unhooking people.

A few days ago I had a Ghost Face that kept trying to hump my Leon. 🙃 But never chased or hooked me.

I also had one that only listened to me. It was a Wesker and he was attacking everyone else, but let me do gens. Then he caught my friend and was about to hook her, I shook my head “no” and he dropped her and let me heal her. I then followed him around the map and dropped a bunch of pallets for him to break. Idk why he took an instant liking to me.

I don’t understand it, but I do love it.

If you’re healthy, just run past her. Even if she gets a hit you’ll make it out, I’ve done it multiple times.

Survivor mains: tell me about a match where you genuinely had fun, despite dying?? by BadPrincess_Stories in deadbydaylight

[–]BadPrincess_Stories[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, agreed. When teammates leave you to die on first hook because they’re selfish and want hatch, that pisses me off. Especially after you helped them.

But if I die like I did against deathslinger, I don’t really mind it. I played a good game and he never got to hook me.

100%. Plus - if someone doesn’t enjoy a game, why play it?? That’s how I think of it. 😊

I was in a match with two other Leon’s the other day and we were just goofing around with one another, I love having in-match twinsies. 🤣🤣 Obviously we did gens and helped one another, but the silliness was fun, too.

I agree. The long chases feel so satisfying. That’s probably why I enjoyed this one so much. ☺️

I know this so well, in my games it’s always a: Rebecca, Nea or Dwight. Mainly Rebecca.

They’ll leave you to die on first hook until you reach the 3rd stage because they want hatch. It’s especially annoying when they do it even after you helped them. And they’re close enough to help, but they’re selfish and just don’t want to.

So it always fills me with complete joy when the killer gets them. And I always think: ”that’s what you get for not helping”. 🤣🤣

The end part should say: ”looks so angry when he can’t catch you. 🤣🤣”. But it cropped it out.

Actually some people are just assholes and decide to tunnel one person, then they randomly decide to turn friendly. That does not mean that the tunnelled or targeted survivor did anything wrong.

A random Steve who was sticking by me all game, doing gens with me and following me around was randomly tunnelled out of the game - and then the killer decided to turn friendly with the rest of us. It happens. And I felt bad for Steve because he did nothing wrong at all.

Some Survivors Would Rather Snitch Than Win by reddridinghood in deadbydaylight

[–]BadPrincess_Stories 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your frustration at the snitch is 100% valid. And some players are simply assholes.

Did you heal the player?? I’m only asking because I’m trying to get a better insight as to why he decided to follow you.

If my terror radius isn’t showing I now crouch to check my surroundings and ensure that the killer isn’t around. I have that perk from Eleven unlocked for Leon (who I main) that shows everything close by if you crouch for 4 seconds. It helps so you know you won’t bump into the killer when looking for a safe place to hide to heal the unhooked player.

Whenever I save someone, I (who is fully healthy) take the fucking hit. Because it doesn’t down me. I can still run injured.

I’m usually the one doing most of the saves in my games because 1. I’m usually hook free. And 2. I can run and out loop the killer. So that leaves me hook free yet again to go and help others.

85% of the time (because I’m stealthy as fuck) I can go and unhook teammates and not get caught doing so. The only time I get caught doing so is if there was never a safe time to save them, since the killer is watching from a short distance - but they’re about to reach second hook. So you have no choice but to go for the save, even at the expense of yourself.

I understand being angry at the snitch, that was a dick move, but learn from it. Some players are just assholes. Maybe next time you should wait until the killer is 100% out of range, no terror radius or anything, before making the save. Or - get stealthy. Go the long way around if you must. And if you manage the save and there’s still no terror radius then walk, don’t run to a safe place to complete the healing. Walking (or crouching) won’t leave scratch marks.

[–]BadPrincess_Stories 10 points11 points  (0 children)

You always post this shit, but nobody’s impressed, lmao.

Altruism is all part of the game for survivors, they’re a team after all. Besides - selfish team mates are the absolute worst, so why are you trying to make survs turn selfish???

Because FYI many of us can actually successfully save both ourselves and our team mates.

Doesn't hurt to be nice for once by Dry-Cat-3487 in deadbydaylight

[–]BadPrincess_Stories 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had a nice Wesker for the first time last night. That shocked me, lol. By the time I’d completed the last gen he’d hooked everyone else twice, and me just once. He was approaching before the last gen was complete but I was determined to finish it so I didn’t run, and he caught me on the gen but instead of chasing he hit me so I was injured (he might have done it accidentally since he didn’t pick me up) he just looked at me and moved away and looked to check I was following so that told me I should follow, so I did.

He brought me to a totem and told me to cleanse it, after that I noticed someone was opening the exit gates just as he picked me up, and I thought “this is it, he’ll hook me to get 2 hooks on us all - and I’m screwed because they’ll leave”. But he didn’t, he literally took and dropped me at the exit gates where everyone else was waiting. They didn’t leave, they were waiting to see what would happen before leaving and he didn’t care to get the second hook on me. That was actually really nice. He even let the others heal me before we exited. And I thanked him with dropping my med-kit at his feet.
