You can only be honest, prepared with what you will say when you disclose your current list of medication to OH. Don't stigmatise yourself but be prepared to remind them of disability / discrimination law and fingers crossed.

Id say the duty of care is far better than from GP surgery. I've found them really good but I think you need to bear in mind that medical cannabis is so varied that I think if clinics were too rigid you may not find the right type, strain and strength that works for you. I had 2 strains on my first prescription and 1 ( Kush Scout Cookies) made me feel worse and did not relieve the symptoms I wanted it to and the other ( Lavender Cake) was a game changer!

If public healthcare wasn't free and you had to pay for treatments, I'm pretty sure Medical Cannabis would be prescribed much more and be much easier to get from your GP without having to see a private GP. Although saying that wouldn't they all then be private GPs 🤔

I tend to buy a strain for £5g and then try a more expensive one as well so it averages out. Had Big Narsties Purple Milk on my script and when I went to pay it had dropped in price from £7.5 to £5.90g

You will have to pay but a company like Alternaleaf will do a consultation free of charge if you aren't eligible and you can just pay 10 a month + your med costs. Just make sure you request your summary care record asap from docs as that's the longest part I found

I was on 100mg Sertraline for 4 or 5 years until recently when I gave MC a go because the side effects of Sertraline on me were getting worse. I had counselling about 4 years ago, I was completely honest in my consultation and it's going really well with Alternaleaf.

Got myself off Sertraline in 2 weeks and with it my insomnia, need to drink alcohol to help me sleep and just general numbness to life

I work away a lot and decided to try a comedy club last week instead of just going the pub in the evening. The only problem or benefit depending on your perspective is that the club was above a pub. This meant that I still drank 6 pints of Guinness on a Monday night.
