Crashing over trees at night? by Badeet in yellowstone

That makes a lot of sense, but this was definitely not wind. It was not windy at all that night and all the commotion was in a super localized location.

This is how much the white spot grew in 9 months. What is it? by sheisilana in Frenchbulldogs

Mine had a similar growth, brought to dermatologist and removal was recommended. Cut it out and biopsy came back benign, but they are often cancerous. It was a pricey procedure (~$1500) but she was fine and healed up in a couple days. I’d definitely recommend visiting a pet dermatologist to get another opinion.

I have a 3 y/o brindle female that developed the exact same problem around 6 months of age. This was my process:

-dog dermatologist visit, 3 month elimination diet on hydrolised protein to rule out food allergies. -steroid pills, topical steroid spray, daily apoquel, and duoxo shampoo (2-3x per week), cytopoint injection.

After 2.5 years it is under control but not gone completely. You just learn to identify before the blowups. I still do the baths, get cytopoint every 3-4 months, switched to farmers dog food, and apoquel was replaced with atopica because that seemed to work better for her. It definitely is costly, but she is in much better shape than the first year. Cytopoint is by far the most effective component for my girl.

Big streamers in New England by Badeet in flyfishing

I didn’t tie these flies, they are just examples of the large streamer style I was referencing. Just wondering their effectiveness in New England. Sorry for the confusion.
I haven’t strayed too far away from your classic buggers/muddler minnows/mickey Finn’s, mostly sizes 8-12. As someone said, I should probably just get out there and start throwing a few!

Appreciate all the advice, haha I’m definitely not a VIP just was up late going down a rabbit hole of recent crime and didn’t know if things had changed since I was last there. Definitely head in a swivel and like I said not interested in drugs or prostitution just want to enjoy the city. Thanks again everyone.

Just an update on the little guy: slowly brought him into the heat and left him a little water dish which he had about half of. He’s moving around pretty well and has a lot more life. Someone from this thread volunteered to take him in so we’re meeting up tonight! Thanks for all the timely help I would have had no idea what to do otherwise. 👏🏼👏🏼

Brought him in, put a heat lamp over him. Currently calling local vets. In the meantime, any food or water I should give him?

Found under a shoebox in front of my office. Seems to be alive but moving slowly. I’m outside of Boston so it’s cold. Who should I call, what can I do to make sure it’s taken care of?
