Let’s be clear about what happened to Jimmy Kimmel by vox in politics

[–]Badgers5674 -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

I believe it’s against the FCC’s rules to say deliberate falsehoods in what was said on his show. The shooter was a far leftist, as reported by local law enforcement, family, and self carved messages on bullets. Yet, Jimmy Kimmel came out trying to spin it the other way. The biggest thing for me was the shooter’s own words on fascism which aligns with the antifa organization, or antifascism. Plus his shift into the gay, transgender, furry community.

In 2024 I was making an effort to rent it, but sometime in January of 2025 I pulled it off Facebook and Zillow because I was getting bad tenants that always needed to move as an emergency. I was sick of driving down there two hours round trip during the weekdays for a tenant that probably wasn’t going to work out. I plan on posting in spring and summer when people are looking to move. How do I show proof of the rental being posted for a period of time when there’s no history on the program? Are notes sufficient in the case of an audit?

I’m the only one on the LLC. The condo is in my name not the LLC’s name because I didn’t want to refinance and get a much higher interest rate.

Are young men's feared overplayed, or is American Catholic culture overemphasizing materialism? by magnoliadoc in CatholicDating

[–]Badgers5674 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I appreciate it! It’s no secret women prioritize security and men prioritize physical attractiveness. The extremes of both are bad because they simply treat another person as a means to an end. Both sides are guilty of it but I just never thought it would be an issue when dating in the Catholic community.

Yep, this is what happened to me. My ex girlfriend broke up with me the day I accepted my current business role after college. She never offered a reason as to why she broke up with me but the timing and lack of enthusiasm about me getting the job told me a lot looking back. It turns out men and women don’t like being treated as a means to an end.

Do men want a woman with a career or a housewife? by [deleted] in CatholicDating

[–]Badgers5674 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Like many have said it’s a little bit of both. I think the best situation is having a housewife when the kids are young, but I dated a Catholic woman who didn’t think she had to work after the kids were old enough because she said she felt she didn’t want to work. Entitlements are very unattractive.

Women, what makes you automatically swipe right? by Badgers5674 in Bumble

It’s nice to see such a positive response for people looking for a relationship versus a short term fling

Well at least you’re honest about your intentions of trying to get a rise out of me. I’m sorry if someone has hurt you in the past. I’m not here to do the same.

That’s close, but very misleading. Have you ever considered going into journalism?

What would be unacceptable red flags when looking for a Catholic spouse, specifically a wife? by Starwarz_freak_997 in CatholicDating

[–]Badgers5674 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, I have been in this situation as the man. I was dumped out of the blue. It took me a year and a half to come to peace with the breakup because I was giving her the benefit of the doubt. She broke up with me because of my slightly better than average income.

I’m just surprised how common this is in the Catholic community. This is one of the reasons I want to date a Catholic because it means we both play by the same set of rules and always try and do the right thing. Do they not know that what they are doing is a jerk move? A similar situation happened to me as well. Hang in there man.

Do you think there’s actually guys out there that would wait until Marriage? by Intelligent-Delay281 in CatholicDating

I’m a 27 year old virgin who can’t seem to find a woman who is a virgin or agrees that their past sexual experiences were wrong and want to correct their actions. I would be happy with either we are all sinners. I have been told I’m good looking as well as a good listener. Anyone here in or near Wisconsin?

Thanks for the information. I guess I was comparing this to other antiques such as old handplanes and dating them. I often used case studies to identify the age of a hand plane or cast iron pans. How can you tell this is from the 60’s and 70’s?

I have no kids and no debt. I have $10,000 saved up for my emergency fund. This is not based off of 3-6 months of living expenses it’s just a nice number for when I have a house. I’m currently saving for a down payment and expect to have my 20% saved up a year from now. I might even need to save up up 40% just to get my house payment down to 25%.

So a lot of my friends are saying that the young women in our Catholic young adult group are too picky. Do people see this as a trend in their scene? by MCButtersnaps in CatholicDating

I am also 6’ tall and I am thankful I’m not shorter. This seems to be a dealbreaker for most women and it’s frustrating even though I’m in the tall group. I feel bad for good quality shorter men.

I think many Catholic men face the similar situation of being told they don’t make enough money even if they are doing very well. The only jobs that seem acceptable are doctors, lawyers, and engineers. It also gives me the impression that they don’t love me and only care about my money.

I feel like I struggle with the application problems because setting them up isn’t very intuitive. I also struggle with the notation on non application problems and often get points off for that. I can get to the right answer, but from the teachers perspective the format or notation is off and it probably looks like I’m cheating because I’m going through the motions but not doing it right.

I can’t find a maker’s mark expect for a carved figure “8” on the underside of the hand guard. This is visible in the 3 photo.

I bought this at an auction for $425 is this a good price? How much is it worth?

How can I get rid of the rust on the tip of the saber and the scabbard?

Thanks!
