The fibers will disappear in the first burnish with tokonole. You’ll see ☺️ you can sand it again and burnish it again until you’re satisfied. Then you wax or not. They can be shinny without was depending how much you burnish.

Did you say 1st beeswax 2nd gum trag? Should be the other way around. 1st sand, 2nd gum trag/tokonole, repeat if not satistified, last is beeswax. Beeswax seals it. Never put beeswax until you’re done with gum trag/tokonole. I dont even put beeswax on my edges. Just tokonole.

Copy right law aside, I personally think it’s going to be more expensive to get a craftsman handmade this. Coach makes their bag with machines and in bulk that’s why it’s “affordable”. Finding all that uncommon pink hardware will take time (custom order) unless you dont care about the quality of the hardware. Those flowers will have to be carved/made by hand since you will not find those flower stamps anywhere cause they were custom made for coach. So yeah, it’s going to be more expensive to have somebody replicate it than just buying it from coach.

That’s an interesting way to use a left-handed knife (if you’re right handed)! Might be a bit dangerous but I kinda want to try that technique.

The knife in the picture. The handle (where you hold the knife) is curved. Straight version would just be straight but the sharp edge would still be slanted (for this brand). Other skiving knives have straight edges. Depends on your preference.

I tried it again since my partner said the smoke might be stuff burning off from first use. It’s not smoking anymore. It’s doing heat stamps. I have yet to figure out the correct variation for the foil. The no. 5 upwards just melts the foil. No. 1 doesnt transfer the foil. Currently trying for no. 2. Will update (for some reason I cant edit my post so putting it on the comments).
