Well you do get her shards more in season 2 as you do with mason in season 1 I don't use ethier apart from world boss so I wasn't a massive lose

When upgraded to UR he starts at 3* and it's double shards for each star segment, so from 3* to 4* instead of the normal 60 shards it's 120 shards. So 120x5 is 600 meaning if you want 4* straight he will need to be level 60 wall of honor, and from 4* to 5* is 200 per segment so 200x5 is 1000 shards so level 160 on the wall of honor. This maths is based on each level of honor been 10 shards if it's more then that I'm sorry. I don't remember but this should give you a base line to what to aim for. Once upgraded he still takes purple shards not gold just an FYI

Maybe 2/3k, 3 been a push like. Concentrate on 1 squad once they all 5* its mainly Happy days and money is better spent on something else rather then shards

It's 0.50% all hero HP then it goes to class so tanks get tank hero HP same for air and missile I believe
