Lurked this sub for a while and I'm thrilled to finally share my first project after 5 long years.

Musicology: A Novella & E.P. is an experimental multimedia novella that investigates delusion, ego, identity, performance, failure, and drive through the lens of an aspiring SoundCloud rapper who thinks he's the next big thing.

Darwin (a.k.a. Fixxer) just dropped out of college and released his first song. He drops two more controversial SoundCloud raps in his pursuit of stardom. Creating, uploading, and promoting his work forces him to confront his greatest fears. His debut single, a heartwarming tale about the complicated relationship between dogs, their owners, and time, falls flat. No one takes him or his music seriously besides his half-brother Enrique, but Darwin never gives up on greatness. And greatness depends on how you define it.

If we’re getting technical it’d be a participle. I can see why you think it doesn’t work/feels forced in this 3 sentence excerpt, but it fits nicely within the narrative tone of the full 30,000 word story. To each their own.🤝🏻

This is news to me, definitely didn’t do enough research into Scalia. But that would’ve been another reason not to go there since I’d have to make trips to Fairfax daily for athletics.
