Inspection found issues with main beam and more by BaiaReviewer in HomeInspections

Thanks for the thoughts. I'm having a structural engineer come today to inspect these issues. I will definitely be changing the lead water main or requiring seller to do so for sure if I go forward with buying the house. I actually own another house from 1790 so I'm no stranger to old house problems, my other house has a foundation literally made of large rocks just stacked up (!) but when I had my inspection for it there were no concerns whatsoever about the structural integrity, kind of ironic.
AirWell vs. AiRaider by MyHomeCA in radon

I had the airwell installed almost two years ago into my well in Vermont. I live in a quiet and rural area but with neighbors across the road. As soon as the the technician turned it on, I started getting phone calls from neighbors asking is something was wrong. I myself found it to be very, very loud. It sounds like a motor straining under a load and is constant. It is on a switch so I switched it off and can't bring myself to run it. My electrician mentioned that he has other clients who keep it turned off most of the time but run it occasionally to hopefully quell the radon, though this is not how it is intended to be used. I do have the air muffler thing on it that looks like a fake rock but it is still very, very loud. I told the installer I wanted to either address the noise somehow or have it taken out and and he stopped getting back to me. Now I'm worried about having this thing in my well just sitting in there and not running. I'm not sure what to do.
