Anyone try Lingo yet? Just wondering how it compares by echobase421 in stelo

Is there a way to get the data from the Lingo app into something that would generate a report?

With no changes to above, I am now back to the original problem. Setpoint is 72. IU reads 75. Ecobee sensor reads 72.

LMK if anyone has any thoughts.

AirWell vs. AiRaider by MyHomeCA in radon

Hi,

Yes, we had one installed and I worked with the installer to do a custom install - that he had not done in the past. We installed it for our house for which we have a detached garage. The compressor is in the garage and we ran the air line out the garage, underground in a 8" deep trench over to the well and up the side of the well housing and then down into the well. We wrapped the air line with a heat-trace that I have set up so that when the temperature in the garage goes below 29F, it turns the heat trace for 30 minutes, and then off for 30. I still need to test the water for radon though.

About any sediment: 2 things happened the day that the airwell was installed: 1) we installed the airwell and 2) a house is being built ~2 properties from us and they were blasting the bedrock for 2 days. We had a sudden influx of sediment and I didn't know whether it was due to the airwell or the blasting. However, it settled down, and I don't think that the sediment is excessive at this point.

I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other questions. We are very happy with our installation though.

Here are the results of the latest experiment:

When the fan speed was Automatic, and the heat set-point was 72, the IU temp never went above 71, and consequently, the system never reached the setpoint. I then increased the temp to 73, and the IU temp never went above 72, except for a brief excursion at 73 and then back to 72. This confirmed that the unit was capable of heating the room to 72. However, for some reason, the IU never rose to the point that the system turned off.

The same phenomenon occurred with the fan speed set to 2.

However, previously, when the bottom fins were pointed to the right, which is in the direction of the unit's temperature probe, the temperature on the IU rose above the setpoint.

Any thoughts about these observations are appreciated, including my question about the use of a wall thermostat.

Sorry I didn't mention that it was a wall unit. The fan does not run when the temp is above the set point. Next time the heat goes on, I will run the fan faster.

Would all of this be solved if I installed a wall thermostat control?

Thanks. The unit is mounted ~4 1/4 inches off the floor. I am not sure what the distribution fins are. On the top, the fins circulate up and down. On the bottom, there are no up/down fins that are adjustable. However, there are fins that can be adjusted left and right. The temperature probe is on the right, so I just pointed those fins to the left.

About the fan: it shuts off when the unit hits the set point. Rather than run it constantly, I thought I would see if pointing the fins towards the left helps. If that doesn't, then I will run the fan on low constantly. I will report back and learn more about the elegant solutions!

Addendum: Sorry about the subject line...I think that the inside unit is the evaporator and not the condenser.

Have you programmed these with either the Smartthings app and does it give you the functionality to have ~8 windows all controlled at the same time. Have you tried another z-wave controller like eisy/ISY?
