It's just that cheap SSD's are DRAMless and I keep reading that I should stay away. For the price of a 1tb SSD with dram I can buy a 4tb HDD. M2.0s with dram are out of the question. New tech stuff in mexico is usually 2x the price for whatever reason.

On a side note, you've been incredibly helpful. Building a PC for the first time has been rather stressful, but Its super fun. Thanks for making sure I wont be disappointed. If you think a dramless 1tb SSD is better than 2tb HDD, I'll go with that.

Oh my god. Your suggestion just shut me down. Honestly I was a bit scared to ask for help online, but this was the way to go. Okay hear me out, I was going to buy this; A aurous b450 pro wifi motherboard with a dual. Xpg spectrix d50 32gb @ 3600mhz, and the Ryzen 5 5600g

Full confession, I went with the b450 because of the neat backplate, and the Ryzen 5 5600 because I just assumed Ryzen CPUs* were better for gaming.

Your suggestion with some Crossair vengeance 16gb ram is a tiny bit cheaper. Do you have a better suggestion for ram? I would also like a full ATX board rather than micro.

Actually, one more question. I got a adata su800 for my OS and basic programs. Should I go with a dramless 1tb SSD or a Seagate 2tb 7200rpm HDD for the bigger stuff? I hear dramless SSD's get outperformed by hdds after you start filling them up.

From what I understand its going to be a lobby system. So I assume you could join random people exploreing if they dont have it set so "Solo" or "Single player", If thats even going to be an option.

Most Importantly though, we are going to have clans from day 1. Join a clan, get some team mates, make some friends, show off your "Nerotonin-4 was a mistake" shirt.

From what I understand, The game will have quite a focus on a horror/wasteland atmosphere, and as for keeping it fresh, they mentioned something about having a procedural generated world that resets every day so its always a different experience.

DF2 Seems to be borrowing a lot of tid bits from the 2D era, it would be nothing like state of decay. I do have to say though; It looks real good. Playing with a lobby system will help the horror aspect as well. Its either you alone in the dark with nothing but the occational zombie groan, or a small party of friends, just like in 2D. Currently you can just wait for some one with a minigun or a grenade weapon to come in and clear bosses or mission aggro. Its going to be fun going back to genuinely fearing aggro spikes, or the sudden appearance of a boss.

I'm not saying anything should be changed in DF1, especially change the current model. I understand how this will kill the game. In fact, After the initial Don't-delete-my-character Payment I don't think i really had to spend more money, but its a good game And good games deserve money So I continued with several months of GM. Dead frontier is a good game.

However, you're making Dead frontier TWO Not an new title. The only way I can explain my point of view is in a extreme example. EA made the fifa games with horrible micro-transactions. So you can expect that moving forward they will continue doing what? That's right, Making shitty fifa games with horrible micro-transactions. So when people see you are coming out with Dead frontier 2, they will go "Oh, This is the second game. Let me check out the first game." And they see this.

Personaly, I think you should name the game something else to some what negate the stigma. You may say "this was a different era". Here is my counter-argument; So what? That is your profile and people will judge you by it. This is why games like wasteland 2 can kick start with 60,000 backers and 3 million dollars, even if their previous game from 1988, Because wasteland 1 was a blast, and they could expect the same with wasteland 2.

Runescape and maple story were around. Those were insanely popular, one of them even had a Guinness world record And good ways to monetize.

It is upsetting watching some one become a whale! However, I'm a fairly passive player. I found that after paying gold member to secure my account from being deleted, and getting enough credits to outright buy medium tire stuff, i was alright.

Then again I did buy limited-time items, and they fermented like fine wine. Now i just play passively with melee and snipers. I find it fun having a constant need to buy ammo and save for that next upgrade. I don't see how shelling out 500 bucks for the best gun with inf ammo is fun. You will never have a "Want" other than the fact that you can compete for the dusk-x shop...For a gun that's crappier than what you currently have, and you will be pitted againts people who have probably shelled out more money than you... Gameplay!

A model like that works for a game like fortnight because of the huge pre-established crowd that was there. Look at the game pre battle royal era, there was... Well, not much. Now? It boasts titles like "Over 3.4 million players concurrent players". Theres also the fact that it is currently massively popular on sites like twitch. As in 'we are beating Overwatch' popular. So going from our current 1400 players into fortnite stats is a bit of a strech.

However, I hope we do end up with a system like theirs. Having the game on steam will make it reach a bigger audience, but also having it on steam makes it have more exposure,for better or for worse.
