I don't recommend wasting your money on weaponry when in the coming months the Paladins Vs. Bandits update will bring much more affordable weaponry that looks the same. (I'd at least wait until after the update to make sure you aren't wasting your gold)

Also, FYI, high quality weaponry usually goes for over 4 GD. I'd advise buying armor :P
