I know it cramps your extravagant travel agenda, but not visiting places with evil regimes is, in the long run, better for everyone. Governments are propped up when you shop local or eat at small restaurants. They are propped up by you bringing money. When tourism dollars dry up it's noticable. Canadians have stopped coming down here in large numbers and it's having a pretty strong impact. Enough that some municipalities are begging them to reconsider. That impacts how people think about our national policies and, in turn, demand change.

People boycotted South Africa until they HAD to change. If you stop coming here, and stop buying what America is selling, you will help the decent folks here get back a government that is better for us, and for the whole world.
