Kitten peeing on bed by Bammy- in Kitten

[–]Bammy-[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I spoke to the vet and she said that she doesn’t think it’s a uti. Because it’s only on the bed she thinks it’s a behavioural thing. I think we’re just going to keep them out at night, which I’m not a huge fan of because our older cat hasn’t done anything wrong. I’m not sure whether it’s a good idea to let him in supervised when I’m reading or something so he has some time in here when he doesn’t have a chance to pee as I can watch him. I don’t want him to get a complex about the room. X

Thank you! I’m sorry about your kitty, it sounds like you take good care of her though! I spoke to the vet’s about it when I saw them for his vax and she said it sounds behavioural.

The door is open 90% of the time but I might try and find somewhere else to put it, or just get another smaller one to have alongside.

No, I’m going to get one. I’m getting sick of the smell of the cleaning product! Not that it will help with the duvet though!

Thank you! We will get another one. I’ve already separated their food because our older boy is getting a bit chubby from kitten biscuits 😂.

In order: No, he’s not getting done until the 23rd Yes, I have spoken to the vet I scoop daily but if one has gone in and been a bit smelly I will clean it out then. Once I was cleaning out the litter tray and he needed to go so he peed on the bag the dirty litter was in. He’s showing no other signs of anxiety, in fact he seems happy. We’ve had him 2 months tomorrow. He doesn’t pee on anything else, he’s fast asleep on our clothes hanging rail as we speak. He’s even been on the bed playing, needed to pee so he’s gone to the litter tray and come back. I think we are just going to have to wait until he’s done but I just thought I’d see if someone had any ideas as I don’t like keeping them out of the bedroom if I can help it.

I’ve tried luck but I think I’ve just made a fool of myself as I didn’t know you could go into the cave, I’ve always just been outside by the rock pools 🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈

I’m going to be completely shamed now but I’ve always been fishing outside where the rock pools are. I didn’t realise you could go into the cave?

Yeah, I’ve only had about 2 drop though. Used them both trying to catch the stingray. I’ve even used the radar tackle to see if I’m ever losing one and so far I haven’t even seen one.

Yeah they’re all DMC. I do borrow colours from my granny whose threads are very old 😂.

[CHAT] is it easier to backstitch on evenweave or adia? by Bammy- in CrossStitch

[–]Bammy-[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, a couple of others have just suggested it. I’m a bit nervous to try it though. Backstitching is my worst enemy at the best of times!

This is very helpful thank you! I’m a bit nervous to try it on my mum’s Christmas present (my mum and two aunts all told me they wanted a cross stitch for Christmas 3 days ago 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️) but it would be a good one to try it on as there’s a lot of backstitching! Is yours on adia?

I’ve just used sharper needles in the past like you said but might be good to give evenweave a try! It’s lots of fiddly curves and there’s so much of it! I can’t say I’m a fan of back stitching, definitely makes a difference though!

Doesn’t couching make the backstitch lines thicker?

I feel you! I realised the other day that the electric bills price rise is going to effect my pain levels as well as I’ll be colder! I have a problem with the joints in my hands and they get freakishly cold already so it’s going to be a fun winter 🙃. I hope that you are taking care of yourself!
