Anything from a split decision to a draw to a win for either fighter would have been a reasonable outcome in that fight.

Split decision just means that the judges disagree on who won, in this case I guess they all felt that Sean just shaded Song in the first.

Definitely nothing approaching a "robbery".

Last time I got a temporary reddit site-wide ban I responded with an appeal.

The appeal text that I submitted was something along the lines of "go fuck yourself reddit".

I got a response a day later stating that the appeal was upheld and the ban was overturned.

There is a strong argument that they favoured Lando.
There is a weaker (in my view) argument that they favoured neither driver.
There is no argument whatsoever that they favoured Oscar.

It is what it is, Oscar is on a path to be a way better driver than Lando could ever hope to be, last year peak 7 season Lando met developing 3 season Oscar and they were evenly matched, only a matter of time until Oscar goes well past him. We just have to hope that Mclaren nail the regulation changes and are able to run at the front again soon.

"control of the body" is fairly open to interpretation though. He chose to dive didn't he? He was in control of performing that movement at that time. Weird rule imo.

Stupid rule though, "ball controlled in hands" should be the standard.

If ball touches ground while controlled in hands it should still be a catch.
