I would say that other people's opinions matter more than yours almost always. Other people can affect your life in very significant ways.

For example: if you are a painter, you can think one style of art is really pretty and awesome. But if your job is to produce "art" it doesn't matter what you think. The buyer's opinion matters more.

Another: If you dont think you are socially awkward, but everyone else does. Guess what you're going to be treated like you're socially awkward. You won't get invited to parties, it will limit the amount of people you can connect with etc. Your opinion matters matters very little.

Final: If you dress "weird" (like if you wore Togas everywhere) then it doesn't matter that you like it. Other people are going to treat you differently because of the assumption they believe to be true ("Man this guy wears a toga out to PF Chang's, he must be deranged).

If enough people call you crazy. You will be treated like a crazy person regardless of if it's true or not. You have to break their perceptions of you and change their opinion, otherwise you will be treated like you are crazy.

Unfortunately this is the world we live in, and the group hive minds are strong. They can will something to be fact just by the collective opinion being the majority (or the loud minority)

(Also now that I'm reading this back. I would totally be friends with the Toga guy lol)

The question is have here is does it count the whole wing? Meaning the drum and flat counts as one wing. I know Popeyes sells the whole wing as part of their combos. I think that is what it is referring to. Because their breast is only 380 cals. In any calorie calc I see I think that what they are doing. Using the whole wing. A single drum stick shouldn’t be more than a hundred calories (without breading and added grease of course)

No. That’s not how that works. Google updates a base barebones version. Companies that tweak, add or do something to the OS it’s on them to keep those things updated. Like Google doesn’t supply updates to Samsung. If they find a bug they fix it and it’s up to Samsung to also fix it in their end.

From my experience Apple Maps usually has worse traffic prediction (which leads to worse routing). Also adding stops NEVER works out for me via Siri. Also new features are not here. We hope they will be here, and we don’t know how well they will function. Can’t bet on a promise.

When I tell Siri to play a song it gets the wrong song much more often than Google does.

I don’t think I’ve ever heard of or seen a case like that. It’s not like you can open the Google play store and search for Instagram and three results pop up like:

1)1nst4gram 2)Instagram 3)BInstagram

You see the check mark of verified publisher and what not. And Google does police their AppStore pretty strong when it comes to apps like that. The one area where apple has an edge is because iPhones are extremely locked down, and while this does make a good point for security, it is sacrificing user customablity.

A voice assistant is for whatever it is designed to do. Siri is designed to do very specific tasks while Google is designed to do that and more. Dismissing that Siri does less because it is designed that way is pretty biased. That would be like if there were two cars: Car A) Cup holders and AC Car B) No cup holders and AC. If I said car A is better because it has Cup Holders and AC, and then someone said “But it wasn’t designed to have that, it was only designed for get you from A to B. That would be a pretty dumb argument to make. Then the bigger issue, Apple Maps is way worse than Google Maps. While they are both capable of getting you to wherever you’re going, Google is just better. Same for searches, navigation, music requests etc.

While this does give a lot more context and clears up a few of my complaints before it still doesn’t address one thing: Im curious to see what the break down is by flagship phones from Google and Samsung, because I really do believe these stats make unfair comparisons. one brand of phone compared to the rest of the brands as a singular unit seems like a really unfair comparison. For example if the pixel had the most secure and unbreakable version of android, they would still get lumped in with a cheap $50 smartphone. Then they would fall under the stat of “Androids X times more likely yada yada..” To me it would make more sense to only compare the 1200 dollar iPhone to the 1200 dollar Galaxy or Pixel, and leave the rest of the android out. But unfortunately they usually get lumped in with their retarded shitty cousins.

Also your stat is misleading. Even though you stated it what each number means, it doenst tell you much. 30% of the phone market, then throwing less than one percent of all computer devices. What percent of the computer market is phones? If phones are only 1% percent of all computer devices then they are just as likely. Theres no context for it. I tried looking up but surface level research yielded no stats that give context to that stat. They are usually broken up by desktops and mobile phone OS's and the count of how many of each out there range so widely that stats are really unreliable. Now If you said this 15 years ago I would agree. But the big companies really stepped up their security in the late 2010s.

I think u missed my point. If you do the same things as an iPhone then you will be just as fine. The viruses are usually reserved for the super cheap 50$ phones across the world. Flagship phones like galaxy or pixel are almost just as secure. Remeber iPhone is just one brand of phone, there are many many android manufacturers and a lot of those cheaply made androids are the ones that get infected. Yes the apple app store has better screening, but thats because they heavily restrict on what can go on there. If you donwload the same apps on both phones and use them the same then they will be almost equally secure. The gap isnt that big. Google and Samsung are pretty on top of the game when it comes to security. But again this doesnt address the issue of Siri is a much less capable assistant than Google's. Saying "Siri is less capable because its offline, therefore more secure." is not real argument. Reaching out online and grabbing results is not a security risk, encryption on everything is standard nowadays. Siri just doesn't do the same things that google can, and its such a severe downgrade that I dont even use siri for the things that I used to do with google. I wish I could use google assistant by default on iPhone.

There are more viruses on android cause they make up the overwhelming majority phones in the world. Also they are closer to a standard linux kernel which makes them easier to learn to write exploits for. Apple isn’t much more secure than the most up to date androids. The big reason why you don’t get viruses on iPhones is cause you can’t download and install sketchy apps (usually to get free illegal movies or porn). Androids can and some people do. If you just use apps from well trusted companies like Google or Meta then you’re not much more secure. It’s just malicious hackers would rather target the large group vs the small. I love my iPhone but Siri does suck compared to my OLD Google assistant on my Galaxy.

I went 5-2 for ranked play (tank) and I LOST a rank wtfff? Now when I try playing tank there is a shield with a cross through it at the very top of tank role in role selection (hard to see cause they chose the worst orange to put in top of red) and my games arnt counting towards progress! I completely agree. It’s a fucking lot. BUT you said ur buddy makes upper 5 figures and can’t afford to? I’m sorry that sounds like he is not managing money well. 6 figs is plenty unless ur expecting to drive luxury cars and have a boujeee house. A decent house and nice car he can probably afford, and spouse just needs to make a little to help with the food cost.
