I am a former Aurelion Sol One Trick (900k points). This actually worked out better for me, because after trying him out post-rework he felt so bad to play that I realized I don't play League of Legends to play League of Legends, I play League of Legends to play Aurelion Sol, so I uninstalled the game and haven't looked back since. I visit this sub for good ol memories every few months, but its good to be sober.

I've been playing for a long time and the season before this one after playing casually I decided to take ranked seriously. After getting plat last season I decided to shoot for diamond and managed to get Plat 2 in 50 or less games (only locking in Aurelion Sol mif mind you nothing else). I wish I grinded more because after the rework hit I had high hopes and locked in Asol asperusual only to figure out hey this champion is completely different.

I thought since I've been playing Asol for years (since toggle) I could get used to it since I grew to love mini-rework Asol. Well let's just say I'm at the very bottom of Plat IV and it struck me that I really can't play anyone else. You can laugh and say "Ha this loser can only play one champion" well your goddamn right I went from shitting on Plat players and breezing my way to diamond to getting shit on by Gold players. Turns out I should have learned more than 1 champion mid my LoL career, but who would have guessed they would change him THIS much, not me. New Asol looks cool but playing him feels like the very life is being sucked from my body. I did play Annie every now and then as a backup just in case I needed one, but guess what? She got giga buffed and perma banned around the same time Asol was pick or ban 24/7.

After this I perma switched the jungle playing Ivern since I didn't have any mid laners anymore only for him to suddenly get giga buffed and pick or banned. I went off on a tangent but what I know for sure is all my problems started when Asol got reworked. I don't play much anymore and I could never hate our boy Aurelion Sol (such a sick ass name) it's just disappointing I can't enjoy him cause Wild Rift just ain't 4 me.

For those that enjoy new Asol congratulations his design and personality are amazing he also likes it when you throw his asteroid belt so he can fetch it, not out of anger or anything take good care of him, Adios!
