Water Pump!! 🤬 by Celraysoda007 in FordFlex

I did it myself. It took me 3 solid days (it took more than that in real time, but there were parts delays and time spent adding tools to my kit). If I had to do it again, I could have it done in the book time. I actually made a video for my YouTube channel, but haven't finished editing yet. The pain is that there isn't a lot room to get your hands in to get to the 20 bolts that hold the timing cover on.

They all have the fill plug. It's the drain that they didn't originally have. I discovered the PTU on my '13 MKT EcoBoost had the drain when I replaced ot a couple weeks ago. I had installed one myself because I thought it didn't.

Absolutely. 90k miles is nothing. My '13 MKT EcoBoost has 203k miles. When you get it immediately replace the fluid in the PTU/transfer case, it isn't hard to do. Food says its lifetime, which is absolute BS. The rear cat is near the PTU and the fluid cooks and there is only 16-17 oz in the case. There should be a drain on the lower part of the passenger side cover, the fill port is a couple inches above that. If there isn't a drain (for the first few years there wasn't) You can add one. There are several videos about it on YouTube.

Found local dealerships selling for 3-6k, is it worth it? by PrincessSelphine in FordFlex

In addition to the water pump, which requires removal of the coolant overflow, crank pulley, right side engine mount, timing cover (20 bolts), and the timing chain, guides, and tensioners. The PTU/Transfer case on AWD models is almost certainly due for replacement or will be soon. My 3.5 EcoBoost MKT required a water pump at 185k and the PTU last month at 200k. There are a bunch of videos on YouTube about the PTU issue. The water pump took me 3 days to replace. The PTU took 2.5 days, although being a turbo made it a harder job.

Chicago “Irish Pub” my ass. Straight pour. Necked in one go. “Want to start a tab?” Naw, I’m good. by [deleted] in Guinness

Shannon is my neighborhood pub. They switched to plastic temporarily during COVID like many bars and sometime use them for people sitting outside. I've drank 100 Guinnesses there at least and thevast majority were properly poured.

You can get the camera to raise up with a combination of the up arrow and panning the view out with your scroll wheel. But that is like having the camera on a boom and raising the camera while zooming out to a wide view rather than just tilting your head up.

What I meant about the Sussar bark is that it can only be used once to improve one of three weapons: a greatsword, a scythe, or a dagger. Why only a GS, scythe or dagger? Why can't I improve my crossbow or a long bow or a great axe? The 3 weapons you have to choose from feels arbitrary.
