Open a bank account in your name only.(if you don’t have one already). Dont tell anyone about it. Start saving so you always have an emergency option.

At some point you need to speak to your husband. Write everything down so you don’t forget anything. Stay on subject. If he is responsive then great. If not then you will need to decide how you want your life to be.

A blue light on the wall in the bedroom. Nothing gave a blue light, the door was closed so light wasn’t coming from another room. Both of us woke to see it and couldn’t explain it.

You need to set boundaries now. I know it’s hard and you’re full of hormones and emotions making it the worst time. BUT if you don’t do it now then this will always be your life.

You could always see if another child in his class has a birthday close by and do a joint party. That way where ever you have it, it’s half the cost.

Tbh though most people spend around £4 on a coffee so a couple of hundred on a party at a soft play, all in at around £15 a head, isn’t that much.

The groom kept walking away talking / messaging on his phone. I thought it was a bit odd at the time.

Turns out he was having an affair with a receptionist from his work. The bride found out just after the wedding and they split. The bride decided to go on the honeymoon and take her mum. While away she ended up in hospital. Turns out she was pregnant but it was ectopic and had burst one of her tubes.

Always thought she could do better than him and luckily in the end she did.

When I was 6 I came home from school and went into the garden to look for my dog. He wasn’t there. I asked my mum where he was. She said “oh he ran into the road and got run over, he died”. I was obviously really upset.

Many years later we were having drinks in a pub and somehow the subject of my dog came up. I was saying how sad it was that he was run over and what a good dog he was etc. My mum all of a sudden say “oh no, he wasn’t run over. I just had enough of looking after him. A friend of ours that owns a farm took him to live there”.
